Silsoe Odours Ltd laboratory again was one of only two UK laboratories that demonstrated full compliance with EN13725 performance criteria.
In June 2009 Olfatec, Germany organised the international interlaboratory comparison. Only 22 of the 34 olfactometry laboratories from around the world that participated in this full EN13725 compliance test met the compliance criteria for both repeatability and accuracy. Silsoe Odours (participant number 27) was one of these.
The criteria, in EN13725, for precision (r) and accuracy (A) are respectively r < 0,477 and A < 0,217. The values achieved by Silsoe Odours were r = 0.240 and A = 0.084.
